Routes for kayaks

Autumn routes in Kaunas:

The Nemunas river The journey with kayaks begins near the hydroelectric power station and lasts till the old town of Kaunas. There are many interesting sights to see: Panemune forest, The Napoleon's hill, new sports arena in the island of Nemunas, urbanistics of old town of Kaunas and many others. Route lasts about 2-3 hours.

The Jiesia river The journey begins in Garliava, near the train station. Jiesia has beautiful high banks, small yet very attractive waterfalls. Kayaking in Jiesia depends on water level in this river. When the water level is too low, we advice you to choose the Nemunas river for Kayaking.

Summer routes in Aukštaitija for two days:

First day - Būka - Baluošas - Baluošykštis - Skriegžlė - Sravinaitis - Srovė - Almajas - Almaja. Approx. 15 kilometers distance for the first day. Camp for the night in Ginučiai.

Second day - Almaja - Asėkas - Asėka - Linkmenas - Alksnaitis - Ūkojas - Pakasas. Approx. 12 kilometers.

Second day alternative - Almaja - Asėkas - Asėka - Linkmenas - Asalnykštis - Asalnai - Lūšiai. Approx. 13 kilometers. The route ends in Palūšė.
